  • 12 oz rotini pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook rotini pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  • Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, forming a roux.
  • Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Cook until the sauce thickens.
  • Add Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until cheese is melted.
  • Combine cooked rotini, beef, and sauce in the skillet. Toss to coat.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
