Ingredients
Scale
1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin)
1 lb fettuccine pasta
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1 small onion, finely chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/3 cup crumbled gorgonzola cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Season steak with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook the steak to your desired doneness. Let it rest, then slice thinly.
In the same skillet, melt butter. Add onions and garlic, sauté until fragrant.
Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add parmesan cheese and gorgonzola cheese, stirring until smooth.
Toss the cooked pasta with the creamy sauce.
Top with sliced steak and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, deglaze the skillet with a splash of white wine after cooking the steak.
Substitute gorgonzola with blue cheese for a sharper taste.
Best served immediately while the sauce is warm and creamy.
