  • 12 slider buns
  • 2 cups cooked and breaded chicken tenders (cut into slider-sized pieces)
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Fresh basil leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  3. Layer cooked chicken tenders over the buns.
  4. Spoon marinara sauce over chicken, then sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheese evenly on top.
  5. Cover with the top halves of the slider buns.
  6. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Brush over the tops of the buns.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 5-7 minutes until cheese is melted and buns are golden.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired. Serve warm!
