  • 4 cups fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into bite-size pieces
  • 10.5 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 2/3 cups crispy fried onion strings, divided
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Boil green beans for about 5 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  • In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, milk, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper.
  • Stir in the cooked green beans, 1 cup of crispy fried onions, and the shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Pour the mixture into a casserole dish and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Top with the remaining crispy fried onions and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden and bubbly.
