  • 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 2 cups chicken or beef broth
  • 8 oz spaghetti, broken in half
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, jalapeños, green onions, cilantro

Instructions

  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet, then drain the grease.
  • Add the browned beef, taco seasoning, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and broth to the crockpot. Stir well.
  • Cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
  • Add spaghetti to the crockpot, stir, and cook for an additional 20-25 minutes until pasta is tender.
  • Stir in cheese and mix until melted.
