  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces

  • 4 tablespoons butter

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • Fresh lemon juice (optional)

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Season chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Add chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet.

  • In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.

  • Add asparagus and cook until just tender-crisp.

  • Return chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in garlic butter.

 

  • Optional: squeeze fresh lemon juice and garnish with parsley before serving.
