1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
4 tablespoons butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Fresh lemon juice (optional)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Season chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet.
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
Add asparagus and cook until just tender-crisp.
