Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8-inch pan.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  • Sift together cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the butter mixture.
  • Spread the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and egg yolk until smooth. Divide and add food coloring.
